Starting care with A&T Moore Health Care is simple. Contact the agency, and we will come to you to provide a no obligation, no cost in-home assessment, safety inspection and will share any further information you may need. When you choose to begin care, A&T Moore Health Care will design your individual Plan of Care and care may begin promptly.
A&T Moore Health Care understands that long term personal care can be costly. We design our rate plan with this in mind; we have discounts available for significant hours needed and have contracted rates with many long-term care insurance companies. A & T Moore Health care is also partnered with Veteran’s Home Care to assist our eligible veteran’s and their surviving spouses. A&T Moore Health Care accepts most long-term insurance policies and has contracts with many of the companies that provide these policies. We are also partnered with Veteran’s Home Care, accept electronic checks, and most major credit cards.
A&T Moore Health Care can provide care 24 hours a day. Our agency provides the care you need when you need it. We can provide Monday – Friday care, weekends, nights, and respite care. We are also able to provide care following a recent hospitalization such as from surgery or post-partem. All shifts and assignments are scheduled according to the client’s personal specifications.
A & T Moore Health Care has a minimum of four hours per visit minimum. We are flexible to your needs and can accommodate most schedule requests or changes with a 24 hours notice.
A&T Moore Health Care values your peace of mind. All of our caregivers are insured and bonded to provide care in our clients’ homes. The agency strictly follows all state mandated standards when verifying the backgrounds of all caregivers. Each caregiver is thoroughly screened for his or her qualifications, honesty and integrity. This includes a criminal history check, professional and personal reference checks, skills and ability check and random drug screening.
Home Care is non-medical in nature and is aimed at assisting the elderly in their home. Services include bathing, dressing, light cleaning, cooking and running errands. These services enable seniors to live independently in their own home. These services are not covered by health insurance and are private pay. Although, Long Term Care Insurance can help defray the cost.
Home Health Care is medical in nature and requires a prescription from your physician. These services include nursing visits, respiratory therapy and physical therapy, just to name a few. Your health care insurance usually pays for all or a portion of these services.
